and that is high praise indeed." A dynamic string trio comprised of musicians
from the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, the Denali Ensemble has performed
across Colorado, Oregon, and Washington and is the resident ensemble at
the Chintimini Music Festival. Its members have also performed chamber
music at the Grand Teton Music Festival, June In Buffalo, Wintergreen
Summer Formed in 1998 with the idea of presenting highly diverse chamber concerts, the Denali Ensemble has since included flute, bassoon, oboe, double bass and piano in repertoire ranging from duos to sextets. The Denali Ensemble is also highly dedicated to educational programs, frequently performing school concerts, master classes, coachings and demonstrations in conjunction with its formal concerts. Denali Ensemble members have collaborated with Ida Kavafian, Jesse Levine, and Christopher O'Riley and studied with the Guarneri, Emerson, Cleveland, and Fine Arts String Quartets. Denali Ensemble musicians have recorded on the Summit, Koch, EMF, and Natural Soundfields Ltd. recording labels in both chamber and orchestral settings.
